Soon we leave the sunshine. I wish I could relax and live in the moment like they do, rather than think of all the transitions we’ll need to work through tomorrow.

That’s always the dilemma isn’t it? Having just done that trip a couple of weeks ago, I’d say soak up the sunshine and the final vacation moments as much as possible. Tomorrow will be difficult regardless of whether you worry today or not.

Well said. It’s always so hard to be in the moment when you’re a parent. It looks like your kids are having a lovely time, so I think your vacation was a success. (I hope you had a great time, too!)
