Dr. Phil Appearance

Have you heard? Apparently moms have 30 hours of leisure time per week. We just don’t know where to look for it.

(I’m the one doing laundry. It’s still not done.).

The source of the study? Sociologist and researcher John Robinson.

Tune into Dr. Phil on Tuesday, March 30th to watch a home video Megan, Lindsay, Catharine, Meg and I shot. In your leisure time, of course.

Speaking of which, how much leisure time do you have?

  1. Well, I do not have kids or a husband. HOWEVER, I have lots of friends who do and I know there is not any unplanned leisure time. So, this will be interesting. I hope the doctor has security guards. Nothing like having to mess with an angry mob of women. :)

  2. I have some down time during the day, for example, when the 5 year old is at school and the 2 year old is napping. That’s usually when I run on the treadmill or clean the house. I wouldn’t exactly call that “leisure time”

  3. You guys are awesome! GReat job!!!!!!!!! :)

  4. That was sooooo true! My husband seems to think that having the kids play outside means leisure time for me! How so? There’s a street out there, as well as murderers and kidnappers! There’s tall trees, bikes to fall off, etc…where’s the leisure in that? :) Your video was so fun!

  5. It was fun to run into you out and about today. Sorry about the look of shock when you told me you were on Dr. Phil! Now I get it! The video is pretty hilarious. I need to spend more time reading your blog (in my leisure time – surfing the web on my smartphone while nursing and/or pumping)!

  6. Love the video. I can tick EVERY box on that list!
