The Vlog Pantry: Ethics of Social Media

Monday’s here; it’s back to reality for all of us. Matt’s off to work, while I pack lunches and backpacks. But we had a wonderful weekend. On Saturday night, we poured wine and delved into chickpea puree with avocado and sea salt crostini at Toast with the Sprout folks, and woke Sunday morning to a delicious brunch, a blueberry maple bake.

How was your weekend?

Too short, huh? If you, like me, need a little escapism, here’s something for you. Catharine, Liz from The Kitchen Pantry Scientist and I shot our first episode of a fictional web series about mommy bloggers. And social media experts. And ethics. Tune in each Monday for a peek into our crazy world, also known as the blogosphere.

(My favorite part: the song, which Liz wrote.)

  6. Hilarious! Do you think companies really think that way? I think some of them do! Give the bloggers a stick of gum and we’ll be thrilled to write about it. I get pitched almost daily by companies, and very few actually get my attention.

  7. Love this! I’d be happy to guest star sometime as a mommy blogger! You guys are so creative!

I am so, SO very sure you will want to interview me asap….I have been interview by my 15 year old, “You still haven’t made any money blogging have you Mom?”, my 12 year old, “Mom! You aren’t paying attention, stop twittering, I need to talk to you…fine.”, my 9 year old, “Are you famous yet, Mom?” and my 6 year old, “Mama…what are you doing? Can you stop that?” I am sure that you will find the answer as riveting as they did!
