Today we’re roasting a turkey on Babble.com, and {weep} proud mom moment: our 4 y.o.’s says his first speaking lines. To think just a year ago he chucked his vegetables at me. But now, here he is, saying things like, “Please” and “Thank you,” and chopping celery. It’s amazing watching your little ones grow, and discovering they really do have a human heart beating inside their small bodies. It just takes time for them to learn how to express what they’re feeling without pitching a fit on the floor.
What are your best turkey roasting tips?
I guess I should have posed that question before I shot the video.

I will go over to Babble to check out your video. Are you hosting dinner at your house?
One of these days, I will make a turkey but since it’s just the two of us, I normally roast chicken.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Hi Linda. Yes, I’m hosting. It’s hard to use up a turkey when there are just two of you, but I didn’t find the process of cooking it much different. Happy Thanksgiving!
LOL! I love the video, awesome!!
