About Me

I started my writing career with 52 Fights, a collection of essays about my first year of marriage. Now, seventeen years into our marriage and three children later, I’m exploring topics that go beyond us. In particular, I’m drawn to stories about women who inspire me, whether through their careers or through their hearts, as well as travel writing.

A graduate of Columbia University’s School of the Arts, my work has appeared in publications such as US News and World Report, Glamour Magazine, Parents Magazine, Delta Sky Magazine, The Atlantic’s CityLab, The Washington Post and The Minneapolis Star Tribune.
